Pinnacle API Pricing in 2026: What Odds Feeds Actually Cost
Short answer, as of 2026-08-30: there is no official Pinnacle API price, because Pinnacle closed its public API on 23 July 2025 and it remains closed. Pinnacle odds now reach developers through third parties, and the price depends on which kind of third party you pick. pinnapi, the single-book feed this page belongs to, publishes its plans at $99 to $229 per month with a free tier and no sales call. The rest of this page is the price map: how each category charges, what the money buys, and where pinnapi is the wrong choice.
One scope note first. Every product below sells prices to read, not a way to stake. A data feed, ours included, cannot place a bet for you.
The four ways the market charges for Pinnacle odds
Four business models answer the same search, and they are not comparable on a monthly figure alone.
1. Brokers: you pay with a funded account. Betting brokers such as MollyBet, Sportmarket, and the PS3838 route give you Pinnacle-linked prices as part of an account you bet through. There is usually no data fee; the cost is the account minimum, commission on turnover, and being a betting customer. Right if your goal is to place bets at sharp prices. Wrong if you only want the data.
2. Wide aggregators: tiered by request volume. The Odds API, OddsJam, OddsPapi, and SharpAPI sell feeds spanning dozens or hundreds of sportsbooks, priced by monthly request count. Their entry tiers are typically the cheapest way to get any odds data at all. The trade-off is depth and speed on one book: aggregators mostly poll, so a price change reaches you on their schedule. Whether a given aggregator carries Pinnacle at all changes over time; check the coverage list the day you decide.
3. Enterprise: contracts, sales-led. Sportradar and OpticOdds sit at the top with official data terms, SLAs, and pricing that comes from a sales conversation. If you need a contract a compliance team can sign off, this is the category, and it costs what a contract costs.
4. Single-book feeds: one book, flat rate. This is where pinnapi sits. One source, pushed rather than polled, priced as a published subscription with a free tier. Cheaper than enterprise, dearer than an aggregator's entry tier, and only worth it if the one book you care about is Pinnacle.

Raw WebSocket add-on: $99 per month on REST, Edge, or Scale. Every Pinnacle frame forwarded byte-identical, including market open, close, and settle signals, for teams rebuilding Pinnacle's full state. Billing terms. Quarterly and semi-annual terms save up to 24%. Published term prices as of 2026-08-30: REST $249 per quarter or $449 per half year; Edge $379 per quarter or $679 per half year; Drops $249 per quarter; Scale $599 per quarter (Drops and Scale have no semi-annual option). The WebSocket add-on follows your base term at $297 per quarter or $594 per half year; a mid-cycle add-on is prorated to your renewal date.
How you pay. Card through Stripe as an auto-renewing subscription you can cancel from the billing page, or crypto (USDT, BTC, ETH, and others through NowPayments) as a one-off payment for a fixed term. The free key needs neither.
What the price buys
Two things an aggregator's entry tier does not give you.
Delivery: prices are pushed, not polled. Our own measurement is a median of 22 ms and a p99 of 41 ms from a Pinnacle frame to a nearby client, roughly a 15 to 40 ms band, with the methodology open in the latency benchmark. Several other feeds in this niche publish figures around 200 ms, and a polling loop typically trails by half a second or more. Treat every one of those numbers, ours included, as a hypothesis until you measure it from your own box.
The signal layer: drop alerts are computed server-side at the threshold you set (min_drop, default 5%), and every alert carries a no-vig fair price. That is detection code you would otherwise write and host yourself.
Where pinnapi is the wrong pick
- You want to place bets at Pinnacle prices. A broker account is the product. pinnapi only supplies prices to read.
- You need many books for line shopping. An aggregator is cheaper and built for it.
- You need historical odds. pinnapi is live and near-live only; there is no archive.
- You need an SLA and contract terms. That is the enterprise category, priced accordingly.
- You are still evaluating. Take the free tier first; 100 requests per day is enough to confirm data shape and coverage before paying anyone.
