This policy explains what pinnapi ("we") collects, why, and your choices. We collect the minimum needed to run the service.
What we collect
- Account email. You sign up with an email address; it is your account identifier and the destination for service and billing notices. Your API key — not a password — is your credential.
- Usage and request logs. We log API requests (timestamp, endpoint, API key, and IP address) to enforce rate limits, detect abuse, and operate the service.
- Payment data. Paid plans are billed in cryptocurrency through our payment processor, NowPayments. Payment is settled on-chain via NowPayments; we do not collect or store card numbers or bank details. We retain the transaction reference and plan purchased for accounting.
How we use it
To authenticate you, provide and meter the API, process payments, prevent abuse, respond to support, and meet legal/accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
- NowPayments — to process cryptocurrency payments.
- Cloudflare — CDN, TLS, and DDoS protection in front of the service; it processes request metadata to deliver and secure traffic.
- Our hosting provider — to run the servers that store account data and serve the API.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
Cookies
The marketing site and dashboard use only essential cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and operate the panel. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Request logs are retained for a limited operational window and then deleted or aggregated. Payment/transaction records are kept as long as needed for accounting. Email info@pinnapi.com to delete your account and associated personal data.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. Contact info@pinnapi.com and we will respond.
